KK Celje

Košarkarski Klub Celje ((英語:Celje Basketball Club)), commonly referred to as KK Celje or simply Celje, is a professional basketball team that is based in Celje, Slovenia. The team currently competes in the Slovenian Second League under the name ECE Celje due to sponsorship reasons.
==History==
In 1950, the Railway Sport Association in the context with the Basketball club Celje was established, where the basketball players from Kladivar moved to. This club, later Kovinotehna, Libela, Merx, and Inpos had constantly raised new generations of basketball. By the name Libela, the Celje basketball club almost qualified for the First basketball league of Yugoslavia in two consecutive seasons (1978–79 and 1979–80), under the coaching of Zmago Sagadin and Mile Čepin.
After the World Championships in Ljubljana (1970) in the overcrowded city park, the future Olympic champions, basketball players of the Soviet Union Olympics played a friendly match with the team of Celje.
